Results update and a change in methodology


  • I will track my emotions using the Subjective Happiness Scale (Lepper & Lyubomirsky, 1999) 3 x day for a week.
  • Emotions will be tracked when I wake up and before I go to sleep at random points during the day. The time will be recorded
  • I will also track which days during the week I do or do not train Honey.
  • For those days where I train more than once, I will

Okay guys, slight change. I will no longer be tracking my happiness when I wake up and go to bed purely because I kept on forgetting so I have now changed the data entry just to be at any point during the day i.e. whenever I remember. If there is a positive relationship between the days that I train and my happiness then I will then look into tightening the variables. However, I would much rather keep it up to date at this point in the experiment. I have omitted any results that used the previous tracking system (morning and night)

I definitely feel a lot happier, however I do recognise that things in my life are going well at the moment. I have met some amazing friends, I've tightened the bonds with older friends, the business is going well and my clients are having success.

But maybe happiness begets happiness... Stay on task, Ce. Regardless... More data needed.
